With an unrivalled local and regional reputation, St Mary’s College is an 11-19 Academy serving over 2300 students including almost 700 in the sixth form, making it the largest Catholic school in the country and the fifth largest in all. It is part of St Cuthbert’s Roman Catholic Academy Trust within the Diocese of Middlesbrough. Alongside responsibility for St Mary’s College, the successful candidate will play a key role in the leadership of the trust working alongside several experienced colleagues including two NLEs.

We are looking for an exceptional individual to take up the role of Principal/Chief Operating Officer, this person will be an inspirational and courageous leader who has the intellect, imagination and experience to support and equally to challenge all of us to even greater things in service of the young people.

We are looking for exceptional individuals to lead at Vice Principal level as part of our phased expansion and new responsibilities. Up to 4 to 5 posts are available; responsibilities will be negotiated with the successful candidates and the team. One post will take particular responsibility for deputising in the absence of the Principal and therefore will be a post reserved for a practising Catholic. Salary: Grade 4, SCP 5 - 7 £19,312 - £20,092 FTE

Actual salary range: £14,284 - £14,861

Hours: Mon to Fri: 8:50am–3.00pm, term time only (30 minutes lunch)

Start date: 12th April 2021

This is a fixed term position until the end of the summer term 2021.

We are looking to appoint a 1-2-1 Level 2 Learning Support Assistant to support a KS1 child with social and communication needs. This role would involve deploying strategies to support social, communication needs. We are a warm, hardworking team and offer you the opportunity to make a significant contribution to the life of our school. Our children deserve the best therefore we expect a lot from our Learning Support Assistants and will invest time in your continued professional development.

Have previous experience of working in a primary school
