OFSTED inspected St Mary’s College and judged that:

“St Mary’s College provides its students with an outstanding education. The outstanding care, guidance and support, good teaching and excellent curriculum combine to enable all students, regardless of their academic ability, to make outstanding progress. The school is, as one member of staff said, ‘a team’ working to ensure the best possible outcomes for students.

St Mary’s College was awarded the World Class Schools Quality Mark in 2017 and is now one of two ‘Lead World Class Schools’ in the UK.

2018 Key Stage 4: Progress 8: +0.85; Key Stage 5: Leading regional provider post 16.

St Mary’s College currently ranks in the top 2% of schools in the country for student progress.

Diocesan Inspection 2015 judged the College to be outstanding in all areas.
