 Our approach to the Social Science curriculum.

Social Sciences is a diverse department which incorporates a range of Subjects in the sixth form. If you are interested in how society works, learning about human behaviour, criminal behaviour, the legal system or politics then our subjects will appeal to you. Our teachers are all highly trained and are examiners within their specialised field. Social Sciences is a very successful department and is one of the highest performing within the sixth form, our results are exceptional. Our department prides itself on our knowledge of the curriculum and we will continue to motivate students to achieve outstanding grades.

Our Learning Journeys:

Key Stage 5 (16-19 qualifications)

We offer a range of qualifications in the Social Science department. Students can study AQA A level Law, BTEC Applied Law, OCR A level Psychology, AQA A level Sociology, Edexcel A level Politics and WJEC Criminology.
