Students have the opportunity to participate, lead and officiate within inter-school primary and secondary competitions as part of the School Games or Hull Active Schools competitions programme.
St Mary's College participates in around 550-600 inter-school fixtures per year in a range of 30 individual & team sports and activities on offer to A, B, C, D, E, F and G teams. These range from traditional team sports such as Football, Rugby and Netball to inclusion sports such as boccia, goalball and new age kurling.
These fixtures are part of the Level 2 and 3 School Games as well as national governing body competitions such as the RFL Yorkshire and National Cups and the ESFA National Cups.

There are also inter-house fixtures in a range of 15 individual and team sports on offer throughout the year within the curriculum. These are part of our Level 1 School Games offer. We also run Level 0 Personal Best Challenges through the curriculum.
