Year 11 Prom

It is with great regret that we now must announce that the Year 11 Prom is cancelled.

We had initially hoped that we may be able to reschedule the event before the start of the new academic year. Due to ongoing COVID-19 restrictions in relation to large gatherings and the now urgent need for staff to focus on safe reopening of the full school in September, we have concluded that sadly this will not now be possible.

In addition, it is our understanding that the intended prom venue has now closed down.

We are extremely sorry for the inconvenience this causes and acknowledge that this is yet another disappointment that has spoiled the end of Year 11 as we would all have wanted it.

Hopefully, at least for the majority of students who are staying in SM6, there will be a chance to make the prom at the end of sixth form even more special and we will of course work with students to ensure that this is the case.
