SMC are Top of the Bench at the Royal Society of Chemistry

Last week Phil Caygill, the Chairman of the regional Royal Society of Chemistry visited SMC to present trophies to our magnificent students.

Our team comprising of Antonio, Amy, Douggie and Aniela won the regional RSC 'Top of the Bench' competition, where they showcased their chemistry knowledge, understanding, problem solving ability and practical skills.

The group were due to go on to compete in the national final in London in a weeks time but unfortunately this has been cancelled by the RSC.

The trophies are proudly displayed in the trophy cabinet in the school reception.
