There is a non-calculator section and a caluculator section. Both are attempted in the same sitting.
Recommended prior learning /entry requirements:
Students whose best maths grade is a grade 1 at GCSE will study Level 1 functional skills. Students whose best maths grade is a grade 2 at GCSE or who have passed Level 1 will study Level 2 functional skills.
