St Mary's College is one of the top 100 highest performing state secondary schools in the country, demonstrating a commitment to our students and community, collaborating with partners both locally and internationally to be the best Teaching School we can be.
Who we are
St Mary’s College has earned a strong reputation over a sustained period. Having maintained our outstanding Ofsted accreditation for almost a decade we continue to be rated as one of the top 100 highest performing state secondary schools in the country year on year. In 2017 the College was awarded World Class School status and became one of only two Lead World Class Schools in the UK in 2018, acting as a best practice hub for schools across the country. We have established strong links with partners across the region, nationally and internationally and across all key stages and phases. As a National Support School for a number of years, we have demonstrated our commitment to working collaboratively to support improvements to education both locally and regionally and continue to do so through our work as a Teaching School. St Mary’s College Teaching School operates within a broad alliance maximising the offer and opportunities.
