All 2016 headline attainment and progress measures used by the government place St Mary’s significantly above national averages including: Progress 8, Attainment 8, A*-C in English and Maths, English Baccalaureate.

At post 16, our value added and points per entry for both academic and vocational qualifications are all above national averages.

Disadvantaged students’ progress is consistently well above national averages. Progress of FSM6 students exceed averages for non FSM6 pupils nationally.

Ofsted Inspection (January 2014) of PE, competitive Sport and pupil participation judged the College’s performance: “as good as it gets….phenomenal.”

Vocational outcomes independently verified as ‘exceptional’, “The Centre continues to have exceptional achievement and success rates” (Quality Review & Development Report).
